Rising to the 7 Peaks cycling challenge

Cyclists, take on the 'ultimate alpine ascent challenge' - Victoria’s 7 Peaks Ride - and reward yourself with a free glass of wine with any meal purchased at Gapsted Wines' restaurant.

Covering seven of Victoria’s most stunning peaks – all on Gapsted Wines’ doorstep – the 7 Peaks Ride is an at-your-own-pace cycling challenge that’s run over five months and has you pedalling up more than 8,000 metres of vertical climbing.

This year’s challenge begins on October 14, and you have until 31 March 2017 to reach the summits of Mt Baw Baw, Mount Buffalo, Mt Buller, Dinner Plain, Falls Creek, Hotham and Lake Mountain.

Proof of your ride is through the 7 Peaks Passport, and as a special offer if you show your Passport (2015/16 or 2016/17 versions) at our Cellar Door and order a meal, you'll receive a free glass of wine!
