Ballerina Canopy 2018 Durif - Gapsted Wines

"Under the flagship label and up to the task comes a durif that delivers ripe fruit and sturdy tannins in a mid-weight style that reveals a more stylish side of the grape. Deepest purple in hue. Savoury introduction with black cherries, cassis and plum fruits and striking star anise. Ripe, supple and well composed with discreet, coffee mocha oak playing a featuring role. There's a lot to like here."
SILVER - 2021 Halliday Wine Companion

“A robust and imposing red. Black and red berries, ripe and massively fruited, balanced at the same time. A measured expression of a variety often hard to tame. Kudos.”
90 points SILVER - Nick Butler, The Real Review

"This is a good, solid red. Sturdy, sweet-fruited, generously oaked. Toast and tar, chocolate and dust, blackberry. It will drink well over the next decade or more."
92 points - Campbell Mattinson, www.winefront.com.au
