BRONZE - 2019 Victorian Wine Show
"Blackberry, blueberry, a bit of mint and cedar. Medium-bodied, fluid and supple, nice flavour, melting tannin, excellent flavour, feels good, tastes good, a rub of tobacco and olive on a fresh finish of fine length, a bit of rosehip as it goes. She’s a little trimmer. Go forth."
90 points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
VINEYARD REGION: King Valley
THE WINE: This wine displays a deep ruby red colour. The nose is rich with luscious aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry and licorice. These rich aromas lead to a full rich palate. Maturation for seven months in American oak balances the vibrant fruit flavours with a hint of smooth chocolate and spicy cinnamon. Generous and soft in length, with fine tannins on the finish.
FOOD MATCHES: Excellent drinking on its own or ideal with steak, roast lamb, pizza and many pasta dishes.
PEAK DRINKING: Now-2024
WINE ANALYSIS: Alc/Vol 14.4% - PH 3.54 - TA 6.4
