Myrtleford Farmers' Market
Held on the fourth Saturday of each month between 8.30am and 12.30pm at Myrtleford Piazza, this event gives you access to quality, local produce. This market, which is accredited by the Victorian Farmers Market Association, has a theme each month - for example, cooking workshops, 'meet the growers', or types of produce (eg. Bread and Wine, Cheeses).

Mount Buffalo National Park
Looming large on the horizon, Mount Buffalo is easily visible from Gapsted Wines and forms an impressive backdrop to the Ovens Valley. There's a wide variety of things to do at Mount Buffalo, from hiking any of the 90km of tracks, camping, through to caving and tobogganing in the winter. Views as far afield as Mount Kosciuszko can also be enjoyed from various lookouts.

Falls Creek, Mount Hotham and Dinner Plain
Gapsted Wines is blessed to be located near two of Australia's premier ski regions, namely Falls Creek and Mount Hotham. Both have a large number of ski runs, with onsite accommodation and services.
Additionally, just beyond Mount Hotham is the quaint alpine town of Dinner Plain, which has its own small ski slope and access to cross country skiing, and a wide variety of accommodation options.
And the fun doesn't stop in summer, with each area offering a wide variety of activities through the warmer months including mountain biking, hiking and camping.
Bright Autumn Festival
A ten-day celebration of the amazing colours and produce associated with an Alpine Autumn. The next scheduled event takes place in late April/early May, and includes a parade, markets, an art show, open gardens and more.
