THE WINE: The colour of this wine is dark crimson with purple hues, a sign of its youth. The nose displays rich blackberry, blackcurrant and violet aromas. These aromas lead to a palate of wonderful balance, brimming with rich bursts of fruit, fine silky tannins and a smooth finish. This wine will benefit from medium term ageing - up to five years from vintage.
FOOD MATCHES: Excellent with slow cooked lamb and roast vegetables, rich vegetarian ragout or fillet mignon.
