VINEYARD REGION: King Valley
THE WINE: This wine displays a deep garnet colour. The nose shows rich, ripe blackberry and fruitcake aromas. These wonderful, rich aromas lead a fleshy palate, bursting with ripe plum and dark berry characters. The wine spent 10 months in French oak barrels, and as a result subtle oak imparts delicate spice and additional complexity, leading to a soft, velvety finish.
FOOD MATCHES: Lamb of any description is the perfect match with this wine, from the humble roast to lamb and rosemary sausages.
