Hidden Story 2016 Merlot - Gapsted Wines

"Mulberry and soft ripe black fruits on the nose and soft on the palate with just a few hints of savory on the journey, it's good drinking, an easy 92 points and at $13 very good value."

Tony Keys, wine reviewer, when talking about the 2013 vintage

THE WINE: This wine is a deep garnet colour. The nose displays luscious ripe blackberry aromas. These aromas lead to a fleshy palate showing plum and dark berry fruit flavours balanced with subtle spice. The soft tannins lead to a smooth, velvety finish.

FOOD MATCHES: Rare roast beef with parsnip puree, forest foraged mushroom soup or tuna mornay.
