VINEYARD REGION: King Valley
THE WINE: This wine displays a crimson colour. The nose shows blackberry, ripe plum and violet aromas. These aromas lead to a fresh yet complex palate, alive with rich fruit flavours enhanced by balanced oak complexity from partial maturation in French oak barrels. These rich fruit flavours show distinctive spice notes, the tannins are fine grained and subtle while the finish has a lovely suppleness.
FOOD MATCHES: Enjoy with full flavoured, slow cooked casseroles or dare to pair with dark, bitter chocolate.
